Developing our craft.

The art of conversation.

Let’s talk.

Having identified that honest and open conversations with people is the best way to change their opinion of you is one thing, but developing the skills to make those conversations count is another.

OneConversation have been meeting as a group every week since 2017. Over the years we have spent time exploring the issues we want to raise and debating our stance on them. But perhaps more importantly, we have concentrated a lot of effort on becoming skilled in the art of conversation. For many of the people we meet as activists, this may be the first person with IDD they have actually properly spoken to, so we know we need to both charm and intrigue them, as first impressions are everything.

We now proudly boast a number of techniques, approaches and challenges that can be used to captivate neurotypicals brave enough to engage with us, which we continue to fine-tune as we continue to grow. We implore you to have a chat with us and not have your outlook even slightly altered… go on, we dare you.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak, our meetings have taken place via Zoom meetings, but they still happen every week without fail. More recently we have invited in artists and producers, whom we are now collaborating with to bring you some exciting new campaign material and events for 2021. So buckle up, because OneConversation is about to blow you away.
