OneFest: More than just a day…

Although over 900 marchers attended the 2019 OneWalk (let’s not talk about 2020) we decided that we are not satisfied with just having one day of brilliant demonstration.

No, we want a week of campaigning and celebrating all things disability… OneFest was born!

OneConversation has joined forces with brilliant independent production company Ingenious Fools and through Arts Council England’s Access Fund ran consultancy days with five young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to hatch a plan for what a week of disability fantasticness should look like.

We are now waiting with bated breath for the outcome of our Arts Council application that will enable this to happen. Here’s a little taste of what you can expect…
