#AREYOUSATISFIED?!

‘Are you still banging on about not being satisfied?’ we hear you ask.

YES YES YES!!! Is our resounding reply.

It is 25 years since the Disability Discrimination Act was passed, ensuring for the first time that disabled people had civil rights. This came into being as a direct result of campaigning and acts of civil disobedience carried out by everyday disabled people.

But what we need to ask ourselves is, ‘have things changed?’

It’s an emphatic NO! from us and we feel we owe it to the people that fought for the rights we have now to pick up the baton and continue campaigning for greater equality.

 So, at the beginning of 2021 we will be launching our campaign #AreYouSatisfied?!

With support from cultural experience experts, First Art, OneConversation has had the privilege of working with creative geniuses Daryl Beeton and Urban Projections Bec Smith to create a digital experience that will take our message to the streets - think civil dissatisfaction rather than civil disobedience!
